The ease with which reproductions can be produced is determined by the amount of
available information. I specialise in bronze casting for which I always produce the original in plaster, clay or wax, depending on the textures, form and size of the piece. Following a viewing of the reproduction in my studio, upon approval, the piece is sent to the foundry, where a silicon rubber mould is produced in order to proceed with casting of the piece in bronze. Once the piece has been cast in bronze there is another viewing and, upon approval, a patina (finishing colour) is chosen and the piece is completed. Transportation for delivery can be arranged through the foundry. |
